“Like so many other women, I seriously over plucked my eyebrows in my teens. At the time, it was the hight of fashion….thin ‘tadpole brows’ anyone?

As the years past trends changed and steadily I grew more and more conscious of the way my natural brows looked. Over plucking had caused the hair follicles to be damaged and the hair growth is now extremely patchy, and in some areas, non-existent.

I spent many many years penciling in my brows with makeup every morning attempting to fill in the gaps, often having to re-apply during the day and if I went swimming I would avoid getting my face wet at all costs. It was frustrating

When I became a mother to my beautiful twin girls, time for self-care was something that was practically non-existent. Make up was just another thing on my to-do-list that I felt was one thing too many alongside sleepless nights, nappies and sterilising bottles.

I mentioned to a friend of mine about the challenges I was going through and she suggested I look into having Permanent Makeup she told me I wouldn’t have to apply makeup again and that it lasts up to 3 years! It was just what I needed to hear! A Perfect solution to my problem!

I was booked in by the end of the week and after my treatment was complete I can honestly say it was like a weight had been lifted and I felt like a new woman!

All I could think about after this was how I needed to help other women feel the way I did! I wanted to to help them feel as confident as I did, to let them know there is a solution, to help them save time, to allow them to walk with their head held high, not worrying about getting their make up wet, able to go swimming on holiday without a care in the world. I was excited!

I started my training when my children were 1 years old and have since completed Level 4 VTCT in Semi Permanent Makeup (Micropigmentation) and Microblading. With extensive previous experience working in the high-end dental field I have always been fascinated with the facial structure and aesthetics and working chair-side, and intimately with clients felt like such a natural progression.

I have now helped many women feel the way I did, and it fills me up each time I see how confident they are and hear the kind comments they make after their treatments.

I pride myself on my attention to detail and ensure I always have ample time with each client to discuss options and perfect the design before going ahead. Clients come to see me with a variety of brow insecurities as a result of loss of brow hair, this may be due to infection, skin conditions, hormonal changes, or an overactive immune system, nutritional deficiencies, physical trauma, or emotional stress can also cause diminishing brows.

I know sometimes it can be daunting sharing your feelings or concerns with a stranger however rest assured, if there is anyone out there with great compassion for others and who is really there to hear you your story and discuss a possible solution, it’s me.
